British Soldier Killed Afghanistan Thursday 3rd Septenber Named
Private Gavin Elliot of the 2nd Battalion the Mercian Regiment was operating with the Lightdragoons Battle Group when he was shot and fataly wounded whilst on foot patrole in Babaji District,central Helmand Afghanistan.Gavin was 21 years old and was from Woodsetts Worksop,North Derbyshire.
His family said,
