Lebanon - Hezbollah armed with American M4's and even look like US Soldiers
This is a response to the propaganda going on by pro-Assad propaganda forces that simply because a Syrian FSA soldier carries an M16, he got it from the americans.
If that were to be the case, then the USA must be loving Hezbollah in Lebanon since many of their men carry M16s or even newer M4 models and they even look like American Soldiers.

ever been airsofting.. hell my gear looks just like that cost me just over $600. Not hard to buy American or Russian arms. OMG he has an american designed m16, he must have gotten it from.. well every fucking where. Watch some Hollywood movies.. get a few ex-military guys to train a cadre of men.. they train more.. now you got a starting professional army. Big fucking deal. Welcome to 1500s.

Third party arms sales, that is all. They got them from someone we sold them too, not from us directly. Plus they can be made other places, not just in the USA. The fact they modeled their uniforms after ours was their decision, not ours.

2006? They stood their ground and was able to hit back at Israel. Even the Israeli's admit the whole war was a failure. Given the fact that Israel outnumbers Hezbollah with every advantage they weren't successful.

The gear could and probably was stolen from Lebanon, US still supports Lebanon with arms; so a few thefts here and there. With some illegal support by Hezbollah members in the military, and viola Hezbollah is using our weapons.

@Noalias I thought he was suggesting the direct arming of Hezbollah. Regardless Hezbollah is still a less likely candidate to arm the FSA, especially with the arming of Libyan rebels by Nato.

@Noalias The Syrian crisis is saturated with politics, although yes it is all speculation. The reason I care about this is because given the volatile nature of the region any large scale military conflict would undoubtedly affect us. These people aren't losers, they are human beings.
