I've looked for a while and it seems to me that this is more a sick show under the guise of a lesson in reproductive anatomy, than a genuine science class because all that has been said and shown is better shown through schematic drawings and photographs.
Is it really necessary for instance to have a live male and female models just to show the size of the internal organs? Did anyone wonder whether the young male could have an erection while the woman was drawing on his belly?

@khamomil The live models were a bit of a surprise to me, but really, it's hard to get a good sense of things from a dead body. The organs just look like a massive mess inside, and it's hard to visually place a location to it all. So, the live models were present to show that. I think it could have done without it, but eh, I'm sure they didn't force them to strip naked in front of a crowd, so who really cares.

@Cheesay Gratuitous nudity for the voyeuristic enjoyment of the public. Nothing to be proud about. Perhaps these two young models were happy to make some money in a stingy job market, so no, nobody in particular forced them, it's just the economy that did. The reason people wear clothes besides protection from the elements is to avoid arousing strangers sexually. That is one of the main reasons for Muslim women's headscarve and long coats by the way.

i had to laugh at some of these posts! in medical school, you have to disect cadavers, removing the specified organ and/or the specified nerves...in nursing school, they use baby pigs or cats or human cadavers, depending on what your university provides. your professor will tell you what organ and or nerves to disect and isolate, you have to explain each step as you progress. you are graded on your knowledge and skill. this is how we learn anatomy, by actually removing organs/nerves. i have neve More..

This show is making abundant use of the plasticinized body, if you remember it was in the news a few years ago and raised a controversy because of the use of authentic human bodies for art.
Here we see plasticinized sex organs and real plasticinized slices of a human trunk at abdomen level. Also there is the entire male body from which everything has been removed except for the blood vessels.
