At least six people were killed in the latest Israeli strike early Friday, which hit more than 50 targets suspected to be terrorist hideouts in Gaza. The bombings continue despite a UN resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza.
As much as I believe in the ideals of the UN, have to say it: The UN has no authority or power to think they're able to dictate to powerful states what they can and can't do...
UN calls for a ceasefire, the parties involved say "that's nice" and that's about all.
Giyus.org offers surfers a program that makes it easy for them to support Israeli on the Internet. The software tool called Megaphone offers users a desktop warning when articles or reviews about Israel are published on the Internet. Users can chose to view the article and post an Israel-supportive response.
Ohh wow... a news story that actually say that Israel is targeting terrorist hideouts. Not the JihadTV version which says that they just target hospitals, grammar schools, and mosques (aka ammo dumps). LMFAO at JihadTV and all the morons supporting Hamas.

They are supposed to have that power over all U.N member states, but the U.S, GB, Russia and China having veto powers pretty much hold the U.N hostage, if they don't want something being done it's easy enough for them to prevent it from happening.
The U.N has been after Israel for over a decade in regards to war crimes and human rights violations against the Palestinian people, but the U.S has prevented any real action other than the occasional statement of condemnation or call for a cease fire.
You would think that if the Israeli's were innocent of these accusations they would be happy to prove so by allowing the investigations to clear them of any wrong doing. Instead they do everything they can themselves and use their American pawns as much as they can to keep the U.N from having any chance of doing any real investigation into any of the allegations against them.
If Israel didn't have anything to hide they wouldn't be trying so hard to keep things hidden. ;)
As for the cease fire resolution - I don't see it happening regardless of how badly the U.N may want it without the full removal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the Palestinians are too pissed off right now to just sit back and hold their fire while Israeli soldiers and tanks remain positioned in Gaza. And I don't see Israel pulling out of Gaza for any reason the U.N could possibly give them to do it, Israel has no respect for the U.N's authority, or any individual nations for that matter.
This is very very simple: stop the rockets attacks for good or continue to suffer the way we did for 8 years. where were the UN for 8 years??? why didnt they call for ceasefire from the hamas for 8 years????

First off the U.N has called for cease fires in every outbreak of violence between Israel and Palestine(initiated by either side) over the last 2 decades as far as I know, though I believe this is the first time in a long time they've passed an actual resolution calling for a ceasefire in this conflict, and you have you're own government's indiscretion when it comes to killing civilians to thank for it.
Secondly, the U.N doesn't give a shit about property, it's people they care about, and despite many years of rocket attacks only a handful of people have been killed. On the other hand whenever Israel gets a violence boner and goes after Palestine or Lebanon it manages to rack up a very large body count(mostly civilian) in a very short period of time, and it is those body counts that draw U.N attention.
Thirdly, the U.N has been treated with utter contempt by the Israeli government over the years, being blocked from investigating alleged war crimes against the IDF, manipulated by them through the use of the U.S government and it's SC veto powers to inhibit the U.N's ability to do it's job and of course not to mention the numerous times the Israeli's have 'accidentally' targeted U.N facilities in Palestine and Lebanon during military operations.
Your government hasn't exactly made a friend of the U.N over the years, you can thank them almost entirely for the majority of the world's hatred of Israel at the current time. And personally I think it's in Israel's best interests to back down soon in this current escalation of the conflict, never before has the world been so united in their hatred against you as they are right now and perhaps you may not want to push your luck too far.
Don't listen to me, listen to your own leaders...
"If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?"
"We must use TERROR, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population."

If the Arabs admit they are firing mortars from civilian areas . . . how can they complain that civilians are being killed?
Huh?

The ppl in Israel will be very disappointed if the government accept the UN resolution.
we gave them back gaza and look how they react.
we demand that they will stop the rockets attacks and bring us back Gilad Shalit. without it - no ceasefire. we are done with being suckers.

I stop reading your comment after "only a handful of people have been killed".
as i said b4: Israel has the duty to defend herself.
as to human rights and Gaza : http://xrl.us/gjdae
we will not let anyone else tell us not to defend ourselfs. exactly the way your country or any other will react, not after 8 years - after 8 sec.
