  • The Islamization of Turkey will spell trouble for Israel, NATO, Iraq/Kurds and the EU over the next decade. They are about to start flexing their military muscles gained from decades of training and support through NATO involvement.

    The Middle East is sure to be a very interesting region of the world for the next two or three decades. I suspect that there will be plenty of LL material to come. Stay tuned and get your popcorn ready.

  • I would support providing Israel with a submarine boomer. If Israel had ICBM's offshore in one or two boomers then they would be less inclined to launch a 'counter-strike' immediately lest they feel vulnerable to their destruction.

    In such a small country I imagine the risk of an accidental launch (due to a perceived attack) is quite high.
