its kind of obvious if your defending yourself and your vehicle you should have your weapons already set towards the windows, whether in your lap or the window sill.
If your going on the offensive in a drive by, don't sit and park your car there while your shooting. Make sure the drivers job is only driving, and not shooting. Thats what the rest of the people in the vehicle are for.

Look at around 1:30 ish, when the orange shirt guy comes in, it looks like the other guy came in with him, you can see his leg/knee just at the bottom right corner of the screen for one or two secs.
