Let me first say this is horrible and I feel for the kid and the hard work he did to first get that amount of money for those shoes and the pain he is now in he looks like a real good kid and a close family.
But the real sad thing is that a kid like that wants $400 tennis shoes. That society puts more value on what you wear than what you do as a person. That life is so cheap that having the newest shoes or what ever item is over hyped to these kids is more valuable that a life.

Anyone who pays that kinda money for shoes is a fag.
Those shoes look stupid too.
You need a good pair of running shoes, and a great pair of boots.
My wolverines will last me at least three years, they are more comfortable, useful and durable than any pair of nikes on the market and they were only $160ish, as for running shoes, once you pass the $200 line you're not getting anything better than a cheaper pair or worth the price tag.

For one thing, why would you waste that kind of money on a pair of shoes? I have 6 pairs of shoes ive worn for 5 years and there perfectly fine. Second why would any normal human try murdering someone over a fucking pair of shoes?
