Los Angeles Galaxy’s David Beckham grabs some headlines again as he comes to the defense of his teammate by grabbing the neck of opposing midfielder David Ferreira of FC Dallas, who had just shoved Galaxy forward Landon Donovan.

This incident comes one day after Serena Williams went on a tirade in which she threatened to shove a tennis ball down the “f***ing throat” of a line judge at the U.S. open.

Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena said of the incident,

“It would have been better if we had shown that fire in the game.”
