Ugly story. Be thankful for the video. Cops lied and tried to cook up a tale to make it sound like this guy slugged them first. Patron slapped a waitress on the butt.
Don't get me wrong, the patron is a jerk, but what a wonky justice system they have in Detroit. Cops punch, then lie, then only back off when the video surfaces. Time to move.

The kicker is, this happened in a casino. In Vegas it wouldn't go down like that. If you get all crunked up, they take you back to your room. In Detroit, you get sucker punched.

I sure would like to know how police departments all over America are using screening procedures to select police that have massive superiority complexes. This personality trait has to be detectable and most police chiefs know how to find them. Any psychiatrists here in LL want to chime in on this subject? It cant merely be blind luck that so many cops go bad in this way, can it? Why do so many of the policemen have to use excessive force for reasons that would have been overlooked twenty years More..

This cop had enough of the verbal abuse.....and lost it. I wonder how many of the lawsuits out there are from incidents such as this? You get a mouthy suspect, cops at his "full" limit of scumbag bullshit....and loses it. On the street, most of these losers would never say the crap they say to a cop.....for they know an ass kickin is in order.
Sad for the taxpayers in Detroit ....as they can't afford to fix there water lines much less pay out for lawsuits such as this.
