But if the event is carefully arranged by some ad execs, casted, and edited with a studio sound mix, the cooperation of the local philharmonic, and even with a commercial message and credits at the end; it is not a flash mob but an ad for the transit service.

Despite the snotty comments from the UK and Tennessee, this is something Copenhagen Phil (the orchestra) does from time to time.
For example, a bit over a year ago they did a flash-mob rendition of Ravel's Bolero in the Copenhagen central railroad station. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrEk06XXaAw
Obviously propaganda, right?
Denmark is an amazing place!
