  • Great!

This has to be one of the most beautifully photographed movies ever. Cinematography at its highest form.

It was just on TV about a month ago. One of the movie channels. I watched it 3 times over a weekend. It's no. 1 on my movie list.

    • @goervideos - no. I read Paul Sammon's book, "Future Noir". In it he describes that there was a "first draft" version of the movie. I believe it was shown once at a college in CA. This was not the workprint, it was even before that. It had the full Deckard narration throughout the entire movie. I believe Harrison Ford hated it and they ended up cutting his narration drastically, which became the workprint version and subsequently, the US release.

I think Scott said the origi More..

    • @stirgy thx a lot for all these explanations.

And if u are a movie fan (as i am) u need to check "les cahiers du cinema" its a gold mine.
Godard, Rohmer, Truffaut and Chabrol even participated as critics.

  • Cinematography is one of the best ever in sci fi....pure classic...I would have thought they try and profit again and make a sequel....

    • @jutsenberg Philip K. Dick never saw Blade Runner.

Blade Runner was released 25 June, 1982.
Philip Dick died a few months before, on March 2, 1982.

  • This movie could be a Kubrick (for the picture), a Godard (for the natural), a Kurosawa (for the shadows)a Hitchcock (for the suspense)movie but its a Ridley Scott.
