At least 25 people were hurt when an angry mob of 20-25 activists barged into the office of the channel at around 1600 (1130GMT). Armed with rods and cricket bats, the mob damaged computers, furniture, glass partitions and other electronic equipment. The attack on the IBN offices was allegedly sparked by negative reports about the Shiv Sena and its chief Balasaheb Thackeray. Media networks across the country have condemned the incident, saying it amounts to a clear attack on press freedom. The U.S. Chemical Safety Board on Tuesday released the video and its preliminary findings of what led to the November 4th blast at the Silver Eagle Refinery in Woods Cross. The blast damaged 10 homes but caused no serious injuries. On Friday, board Chairman John Bresland recommended that the plant shut down as quickly as possible. He says investigators in recent days developed serious concerns about the plant's equipment. He says the plant could be restarted once any needed repairs are made and investigators can determine it's safe to reopen. Silver Eagle confirmed it agreed to the shutdown. Investigators haven't made a final determination on what caused the blast. Preliminary findings indicate that the explosion happened when a 10-inch (25,4 centimetres) pipe failed catastrophically. On January 12th, four people were seriously burned at Silver Eagle when a 440,000 gallon (1,665,581.2 litres) storage tank caught fire and burned for 11 hours. A 19-year-old was booked into the Ramsey County jail, and a 17-year-old was taken to a juvenile detention center. Both were booked Tuesday on suspicion of strong-arm robbery and aggravated assault, according to St. Paul police reports. St. Paul Police Sgt. Paul Schnell said police were searching for two others who were recorded on camera participating in the assaults, while the remaining others -- at least four -- would be considered persons of interest. "From what we have seen in the footage, there were only four people that we can connect with possible criminal activity in the city of St. Paul that were clearly and directly involved in the planning and/or execution of these attacks," Schnell said. He said that a handful of victims have come forward, and about four reports were filed as of late Wednesday afternoon. One victim told police he was tackled from behind by an unknown male at 6 p.m. Saturday while walking east on Grand Avenue near Avon Street in St. Paul. "Assault was probably posted on YouTube," the police report said. The investigation and arrests followed the Monday posting of a YouTube video featuring eight young males terrorizing bicyclists and pedestrians -- including children and older people -- in what appeared to be Minneapolis and St. Paul. Edited and set to music, the video shows the group of what appear to be teenagers or young men taking turns saying, "Watch this," before knocking down victims and running away, laughing. The video was removed by midday Tuesday. The video made its way around several online message boards and was soon e-mailed to police and media. The perpetrators prominently showed their faces and gave what were purported to be their real names and nicknames. "We certainly would love to talk to people who may have witnessed things in different areas," Schnell said. Dozens of calls came with people wondering if they saw a shooting star, others wondered if it was the end of the world, military testing, or even a UFO. People from Mona to Spanish Fork from Ogden to Bountiful all calling in a very similar sighting. To many, it looked like a large fall of fire, lightning up the sky, some say like daylight, others reported a blue like light that lasted for about 30 seconds.
