Officials said sheriff's deputies were dispatched to an aggravated robbery call at the Circle N store at 537 East Vinton about 1 a.m. July 27. The store clerk said a man entered at the store and threw a large brick at him, which struck him on the lower left forearm. The clerk said the man then grabbed the cash register and pulled it off the counter, sheriff's officials said. The clerk tried to stop the man but was unable to do so. Sheriff's officials said the suspect got into an early 1990s black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that drove south on E. Vinton Rd. towards Doniphan.
