@KOSMOPOLITISCH No one goes far with a personal narrative... depends on their adaptability /resilience to an environment.
Couples, more often than not, operate in accordance with the societal dogma of peers within the hierarchy of their sphere, a collectively subjective "truth" and the survival of that group in terms of that politic would tend to boycott the individual's perspective and as a result, their influence within that relationship, to a degree. The often conflicting limits set to the self in maintaining the relationship proposes a false construct to being. Keeping up appearances doesn't cut it, ideals or not. The cracks creep slowly.
This setting cannot be one for objective truth, nor for freedom, especially when faced with the unforeseen consequences of repressing a person's true self and favouring sway of domineering and protection of fickle priorities of routine norms. But that's a game that has an end, dude. And that is the truth. I never said truth was a crutch but, unlike love, peace and freedom, it certainly doesn't need people to hold it. That's a problem for most.
Personal narratives are a function of ego size... and the two are directly proportional... that is to say, the bigger the ego, the more verbose the narrative...
And so, I agree...
No one goes far with a personal narrative, period.
How far we go, where the effort can be sustained over generations, depends on truth, not narratives and/or dogma.
Truth doesn't require a narrative.
And truth doesn't require an ego.
But truth defines whether we are right or wrong and whether we are part of the problem or solution at each moment.
In the presence of truth, marriage is potentially synergistic and the workplace and/or business place economically empowering...
Truth isn't a crutch... in fact, it's a weapon of defense or a tool of progress...

@Vaultsoferowid pay no mind to this silly fool, he does have some good points that I agree with but it's evident he's trying awfully hard to sound intellegent lol, in regards to your post God created the animals with lusts and no reasoning, and He created the angels with reasoning and no lusts, and he created the humans with lusts and reasoning, so if u follow ur lusts u become like an animal and if u follow ur reasoning u become like an angel!
This parable explains perfectly why the negro race is so absolutely animalistic in their behavior IE Male/Female both!
Martin Luther king unconsciously made a very revealing statement when he said : "The Negro MUST ATTAIN HUMAN DIGNITY". This statement is tantamount to saying the cow must attain bovine dignity. Why would anyone try and attain that which he already possessed?
The facts are simple, blacks do not possess one sliver of human dignity. PERIOD!
Here's 2 famous quotes I think will agree with your post...... "I have always observed that wherever you find the Negro, everything is going down around him, and wherever you find the white man, you see everything around him improving."
-Col. Robert E. Lee
Give White man a Pile of Bricks an he will build a city; Give a Black a City an he will give you a Pile of Bricks; Truth!
