So, here we are, nine months later.
My opinion on this incident hasn't changed from the early days. (See my post from 23Mar14, below.)
This airliner was hijacked by remote control, using the patented Boeing Uninterruptible Autopilot System. Google it or just look it up on Wikipedia. It is the only solution that fits ALL the available evidence.
Due to the quasi-secrecy of this technology, the act could only have been carried out by one or more government entities.
The destination of the hijacking is anyone's guess, but Diego Garcia obviously tops the list.
There could be several motives for the hijacking.
Firstly, this occurred in the early days of the Ukraine crisis, specifically only a few days after the Crimean referendum was announced, the result of which was a foregone conclusion. The Western Zionist entities (mainly the US, UK and Israel) needed a distraction to turn the world attention away from the fact that they just got their asses handed to them by Russia.
Similarly, a distraction was needed to take the attention away from events in Syria, which were similarly not going in favor of the so-called West.
However, as criminal as the ruling Western elites are, I don't think they would sacrifice almost 300 people just for the sake of a distraction (although it's certainly possible). I believe there were secondary objectives that were to have been achieved with this airliner, namely a false-flag of some sort, possibly to be blamed on Iran. The two Iranians on board the flight, supposedly traveling with stolen passports, were a likely ruse to pin the blame of any subsequent events involving the airliner on Iran. However, various news reports quickly determined that the two Iranians were unlikely terrorists, for various reasons, and the issue was quietly dropped.
I think at some point during this hijacking ordeal, perhaps after the plane arrived at its first destination, which may have been Diego Garcia, certain powers that were opposed to the operation being carried out put a stop to it. Unfortunately, the details of this apparent power struggle between various forces of various governments could not be made public, for obvious reasons, so the passengers still had to be eliminated.
I think the plane, possibly with at least some passenger remains on board, will eventually be found, somewhere, probably at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, but not before enough time has passed to erase whatever evidence there might be of what really happened and to allow a plausible false story to be concocted.
Of course, there is still the small possibility that the plane may yet turn up at a false-flag event, but I think as time goes on that possibility becomes smaller.
The radar image released by Malaysian officials at the Lido Hotel on 21 March here:
Is a total hoax.
That is because United Emirates 343 ("EK343) was also flying a very similar route at an almost identical time yet the alleged radar imagery from Butterworth military radar does not show the tracks of two separate aircraft.
MH370 never flew west through the Straits of Malacca

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370/MAS370)[a] was a scheduled international passenger flight that disappeared on 8 March 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport.0
