What is it with Log Cabin Republicans and war? hey Matt?
Why would a war be illegal?
What do Republicans have to do with Log Cabins, or is this an Australian thing?

The Iraq War is an illegal war.
Fought for Oil, and we all know it. (Australian's Defence Minister Brendon Nelson even said so, said the war on Iraq was about OIL)
America and all her allies should leave now.
Iraq will not fall apart if we leave, Vietnam did not. Australia didnt become Communist, the Domino Theory was a lie, McNamera and Westmoreland where both wrong.
The war on the people of Iraq is an WAR CRIME and anyone that engages in it or promotes it is an War Criminal.
the war is not illegal. the time to go to the middle east is now, not later. if you dont like it, we dont care.

Iraqis are delighted Saddam's gone, now they just want to get rid of the terrorists.

Congress did declare war on Iraq and it doesn't matter weather you call it a war or conflict. Fact is people are fighting and dieing. No matter how small or big of a conflict it is a war. Considering this one has cost 3 trillion dollars and 4000 deaths, 30,000 wounded Americans. I'd say its a war. Good point as well. No such thing as an illegal war. War is war. War does not listen to the laws of man.

[quote:jonhoward]So Matt I gather by your website here on LiveLeak that your pro Iraq Occupation, so therefore you must also be be pro Bush.
American and Australian forces should end the occupation and bring the troops home, or redeploy them to Afghanistan.
The war on Terror should be fought in Afghanistan, not on the people of Iraq.
being pro iraqi occupation does' certainly not mean pro bush. very subjective there.

[quote:Mattsanchez]Canada, the only country that can't say what they are, but will quickly tell you what they are not: American.
The Military Might?
Canada
According to critics in the media and the politicians pretending to care for the welfare of the troops, support for the Afghan Mission is failing around the globe. Canada has lost 66 soldiers in five years and they're already crying uncle. Jean Chretien, the former Prime Minister, initially refused to leave the urban stronghold of Kabul, where International forces have set up a beer garden and a nice wooden replica of the Roman Coliseum. Chretien probably wanted to resort to that time-proven French Canadian tactic of surrendering without a fight and then insurging against the enemy using the deadly tactic of endless provincial referendums. The recent loss of five soldiers in a single attack sent the Canadian, especially Quebec public into white-flag therapy. Three centuries and some people just can't kick the surrendering habit.

nice explanation. you want our help, but then act like a dickhead when you get it.
you're not very good at PR, are you?
we haven't pulled out of afghanistan but we want out by feb. '09.
your own legitimatly elected president asked for help and suggestions of "an exit strategy" for iraq(maybe the french can help?), just as your public support for that war isn't exactly at an all time high.
the entire world wanted your help when the nazi's moved on poland, but your gov't was content to allow the poles to be annexed.
sudan and burma need help more than iraq ever did.
your self-righteous bullshit isn't saving lives there.
exit strategy? first, it helps to be able to differentiate an exit from an entrance.
