@Fo0L Most likely one of two things - weak passwords (which were much more common 10 years ago), which can only be resolved by enforcing a strong password policy, and LL does not have anything remotely like that. Or second, a vulnerability in the LL platform itself. And we have seen video of a hacker using a vulnerability to access Mr.Creosote's (a well-known pro-terrorist poster) account, and then deleting it. LiveLeak runs on a terrible, 10+ year old, vulnerable, unpatched, poorly maintained platform. So that's how these attackers access these old, disused accounts (and nobody is going to report it) and presumably use a script to have them all downvote or upvote certain comments. And LL staff have never done anything that I'm aware of to mitigate or prevent either one from occurring, and have never banned the main culprits (like Ctrl-X).
