Security Guard Saves Baby Left in Car in Sweltering Heat

How hot was it on Saturday in Adelaide ? 42.7 degrees celcius, which is about 109 Farenheit, and the baby was in a closed car.

A security guard was forced to smash a car window to rescue a baby left inside during scorching heat at an Adelaide shopping centre over the weekend ..... The mother was NOT to blame

Thanks for Deadbeef for the following news update.

Police were called to the shopping centre and spoke to a woman who had been driving the car. A police spokesman said the woman had taken the baby out because the boy’s mother was at home ill.

The spokesman said the woman was spoken to by police but no charges would be laid against her. An SA Ambulance spokeswoman said the boy was taken to Lyell McEwin Hospital for a check-up but was unharmed
