Birmingham B14 - Kings Heath

very old photographs taken of Kings Heath High Street a suburb of Birmingham in the English Midlands. starting with very early steam tram era roads at the turn of the 1900's through to motor car populated roads in 1964. Many of the buildings are still there and give the place a familiar feel. They were solidly built houses which have stood the test-of-time being built from Red Brick with Welsh slate roofs and Staffordshire Blue Engineering bricks on the footpaths. A pleasant place to have been born and raised. (at 2.24 on the far right is a cinema which was still there up until the last couple of years or so, I saw Woodstock there!)
