British Pilots Did Not Want To Fly U.S. "Junk" (Mustang P-51's)

ENGLAND (Near Ireland) The Brits did not want to fly U.S.-built P-51's in WW2 that was being given to them to replenish their air force, they insisted that the "Spitfire" was superior and that the P-51 did not fare well in high altitudes.

The last time the Mustang P-51 saw official action was in the "1969 Soccer War" where it shot down many french-built airplanes in dogfights.
