17 Man Deploys Fire Extinguisher Inside Christian County Jail
Officials said Jose Antonio Rojas called Hopkinsville police on Tuesday from a US Bank stating he had been robbed at gunpoint. After reviewing surveillance video, police said they determined that he was lying. He was arrested for disorderly conduct at around 3:50 p.m.
Rojas was released from the Christian County Jail around 10 p.m. and allegedly began running around the parking lot. Rojas ran back into the jail about 10 minutes after being released.
Surveillance video showed him grabbing the fire extinguisher and deploying it under the sprinkler system inside - spraying everywhere before eventually covering the cameras.
