Police make operation to arrest traffickers in Cracolândia - Brazil

Cracolândia (by derivation of crack) is a popular name for a region in the center of the city of São Paulo, in the vicinity of Duque de Caxias, Ipiranga, Rio Branco, Cásper Líbero and Rua Mauá and the Júlio Prestes Station, where it has historically developed Heavy traffic in drugs and junk.

Altogether, about 600 agents participated in the offensive that still counted on the support of helicopters that flew over the area. Focus of the operation was the Alameda Dino Bueno, central region of São Paulo
