Homeland Security Bourbon Street Fly Over?

Black helicopters? Or just some Black hawks?
A friend of mine works on Bourbon Street - he shot this tonight. Was it just a innocent flyover by a few black hawks? Or practice for urban operations by Homeland Security as we have seen in other locations? I don't know - but they sure are low ---- you decide....

Call me chicken little, but I believe the American government is near economic collapse and preparing for instability.
I know...its way out there...I'm really a rational person, but the math of our fiscal position does not lie.

You can't condition for hard times. People might be passified for the moment but they are not stupid. More than likely this is the army showing off or its training. Either way people need to wake the fuck up. Using our cities as a raid training ground is a whole lot overboard.

  • It is an old Hollywood trick - one helicopter that go round and round to make it appears like many helicopters are involved. And he is probably lost, and thought he could use Main Street to guide him home.

  • hmmmm 2 naval bases right near New Orleans....my guess is that they fly over all the time. And if I was a pilot out getting hours, I'd probably fly over the city as well.

biloxi has lots of military plane flyovers. san diego is eaten up with military helicoptors, coast guard and city police. the area around fort knox buzzes with those big ass helicoptors at all hours-training.

  • Nothing very interesting. I live near a base and every so often we get helicopters with no lights on just hovering over the streets and highways. Imagine seeing a fucking chinook a few hundred feet above you on the interstate. Or a blackhawk with a machine gunner pointing in your direction. (only happened once)

  • military helicoptors fly over my son's property all the time (eastern kentucky). night time day time. once one hovered over the barn, my daughter in law went out into the yard and looked up and waved to them...they had the door open.
i don't know what they think they are going to find (marijuana they hope) but they are spending millions to surveille a plain old house in the plain old country. the most interesting thing that happens there is an occasional cookout.

actually no mr. smarty pants he lives a long way from any base that has helicoptors.
the closest military installation is the blue grass army depo where we keep all our souvenirs from other wars...bombs, nerve gas rockets, mustard gas and a huge radar installation that nobody knows about because it's part of norad or some such nonsense...an installation that everyone in the area has known about since day three or four.
no training flights into or out of there, it's strictly m More..

p.s. you live in canada where the gov. doesn't spend a large part of the budget on the 'drug war'.
one of the reasons canada has much better infrastructure and social services is that it doesn't have the culture war that we do.
      i think you cannot relate.
