Large Nose World Champion sniffs out a new title win

Competitors had their large noses examined and measured in front of an audience of revelers. The champion was Dutchman Hans Roest, who held onto his title from five years earlier, the last time there was such a championship. Roest said he was "totally surprised, but very happy" about his win.

President of the Austrian Long-Nose-Club Fredi Pech hoped that Austria could clinch the title from the Dutch, but they only managed second place.
