In the United States, three Jewish men have been charged with hacking the website of the prominent financial institutes.
Authorities in Manhattan say Israeli citizens Gery Shalon and Ziv Orenstein as well as US citizen Joshua Samuel Aaron were charged in the largest cyber-attack on US financial institutions ever. The three men are accused of stealing personal data of more than 100-million customers. Prosecutors said the men had been working together since 2007. Their crimes also include artificially inflating stock prices and creating at least 75 shell companies around the world. JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity, and Dow Jones were among the targeted institutions.
