Baton Rouge Cops Shoot Alton Sterling for Resisting

Alton Sterling was shot at point blank range on the morning of Tuesday, July 5, 2016 outside a convenience store on North Foster Drive. According to Baton Rouge Police Department, body-cams fell off and didn’t record.

Initial results of an autopsy suggest Sterling was shot multiple times to the chest and back.

The cops responded to an anonymous call that a man in a red shirt who was selling CDs outside the Triple S Food Mart pointed a gun at someone.

Alton Sterling reportedly had a gun in his pocket, but witnesses say his hands were nowhere near his pockets, and since two cops were on top of him, pinning his arms down, there was no factual threat to their lives.

Good thing is the witnesses understood the cops are up to no good and filmed something when they saw something, but bad thing is, she yanked the camera away when action happened.

Still, what can be seen is a cop putting the gun to the victim’s face and saying “if you move, I swear…“, and then apparently shooting him in the head. This was gang style execution.

Looks like the cops moved away from yelling “Stop resisting“, to yelling “Gun! Gun!” while ensuring their bodycams are facing the wrong way. Must be easier to justify murder that way.
