Thats not lifting, thats rotating.
@updougdown ha ha yup
Now put an engine and equipment back in with ordinance and then try that again...
Firecrackers don't actually weigh that much.
..and the Gerbil Fan engine,,, wasn't all that heavy either.
Pretty sure the back wheels were still on the ground.
Cough BULLSHIT cough cough
Eat spinach kids... so you can lift airplane
something's fishy, even without the engines the plane would weigh ~4t. probably something is pulling on the back of the plane or there is some counterweight involved
What you did not see was all the sandbags placed on the tail of the plane.
Simple mechanics and deception.
it says he lifts it ? clearly he is just tipping it on its balanced point. anyone could do that easier if it was balanced more with their finger.
Stop pissing around with it and get that Mig restored. It's a classic piece of aviation history.
Engine and other parts stripped out - CG moved aft - light in the front.
Cool. Now try doing that to one that hasn't been stripped down for parts.
funny how they don't show the back of the plane while he's doing it...
i don't even know why i watched this lol i kinda want a refund on my 2 minutes
Probably no engine in it.
Wonder why they never showed the back of the plane...
yeah funny how they avoid showing the rear of the plane when hes lifting it.
Its an empty frame... even my grandma could lift it at the front.
Why do you think they dont just let it go down on its own again? Because it would make it obvious that its very light.
I wonder how much ballast they loaded into the tail section?
Stripped aircraft with a hidden counterwight in the rear. Based on how the guy was holding it, I bet he could have let go and it would still remain tilted.
@mlivsey Don't need a counterweight if the motor is out.
I'm just thinking in terms of a kid being able to lift it.You balance the centre of gravity properly and you and raise/lower it with a pinky.
he lifted a stripped mig.....
Back heavy, engine removed.
Well, the engine is located in the back ...
There's a good reason the rear of the jet is never shown while he's doing this.
