UN reveals links between Israel, insurgents in Syria

The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force says there are strong links between Israel and foreign-backed insurgents fighting the Syrian government.

UNDOF has reported regular contacts between the Israeli army and armed Syrian militants in the Golan Heights over the past 18 months. Based on the reports, submitted to the UN Security Council, Israel treats wounded insurgents in its hospitals and helps armed terrorists cross into Israel. The Syrian army has sent a letter of complaint to UNDOF, saying Tel Aviv has set up tents to shelter armed terrorists entering Israel. Back in March, Press TV obtained an exclusive footage, showing Israeli soldiers transferring wounded insurgents into Israel.
