Man charged in pellet-gun shooting of Central Park jogger

Cops have charged a 20-year-old black man with hate crimes after he
fired a pellet gun at two white joggers in Central Park, authorities
said.

Edward Fall, 20, of Morningside Heights, allegedly fired at a woman,
36, on Aug. 18 and a man, 34, a day earlier, cops said. He faces charges
of assault and reckless endangerment as hate crimes and weapons
possession.

Cops busted Fall with pot in Chelsea early Saturday and quickly
connected him to the shootings when they found a pellet gun on him,
police sources said.

The woman he allegedly shot, who would only identify herself as Hanna,
left the park at W. 60th St. and West Drive about 12:05 a.m., when she
felt a “horrible pain” in the back of her head. Fall and two other black
youths were nearby, cops said.

“My hand went up to my head, and there was blood gushing everywhere,” she told the Daily News.
