Mossmorran Flaring - 7th & 8th February 2013

Mossmorran (an Ethylene plant managed by ExxonMobil and an NGL plant managed by Shell) flaring after another 'incident'. The flaring lasted for 4 days continuously, which impacts on residents with noise, light and air pollution. The video shows nighttime flaring on day 1, and flaring during the daytime (including ground flares) on day 2.

The plant is located in the Central Fife area (Scotland) and is surrounded by the towns of Auchtertool, Lochgelly, Lumphinnans, and Cowdenbeath.

list of pollutants of both plants only relate to the air pollutants
being emitted, and does not highlight the range of pollutants being
emitted via Water and Waste Water.
