State of Palestine: US, Israel flags set ablaze over Jerusalem move

US and Israel flags were set ablaze in Gaza City on Wednesday as hundreds took to the streets to protest against US President Donald Trump's imminent recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Hamas official Ismail Radwan, said, "America should know that Jerusalem was the main subject of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Also Jerusalem and question of Palestine is the key of security and stability in the Arab region and the world."

Fatah Spokesman Fayez Abu Eita said Trump's decision will "bomb the anger in the region" which would affect American interests in the region.

"We are calling for facing this decision with all means of resistance starting with demonstrations, the uprising, the knife, the rock and the slingshot, all the way to the rifle," added Eita.
