Shit Warren I agree with (I managed to watch the whole vid)my keyboard is yours to weild (but it's not wireless so don't swing it to hard).
Please eat the camera an shit it out, but please film it an post it on LL (thats if you got a spare camera).
yeah, cd's are exspensive, so i just use limewire, but as i live in peru, such things like the cinema and theatre are cheap.
Wow you doing good.Nice vlog. And great point.Yeah I said it there...
Hell Yes Great to see you here Warren!
warren i might not allways agree with you and sometimes you just piss me off but at least you bring things into the light and scrutinized and thats how the truth is found out so keep on doing what your doing.
i still buy cd's because i don't agree with stealing (not that i care about the record company, but the bands, even though royalties aren't that much). i won't use them, however, but plan to invest in a Zune or that type of technology so i don't whore out my cds.
it's kind of funny that i saw this video, and read a review in the newspaper about a book which represented the opposing view. the book was titled "The Cult of the Amatuer" (or something like that) and it basically was blami More..ng the internet for falling sales in the music and movie industry. he also praised Clear Channel. the guy doesn't realise that people are not bothering to throw away their money for homogonized overpriced crap. Less..
Bravo, so true. 15 USD for a fuc-kin CD? The problem, too many greedy lawyers and middle leeches in music. Why not let the artists release their own music. Why in hell do we need these middle leeches.
I have not bought a CD in years. You really have stated the music industry case very well.
By the way RIAA wants to leech the inter net radio stations now.
That was better than the Valentine rant!! well...almost...Good one Warren..
Warren first video you posted without abject statements and well thought out ideas, i agree good job.
LMAO Damn good post Warren I have to vote you on this one.
No matter how many protections they attempt to secure and prevent cd/dvd copying, there will ALWAYS be an exploit and a way to copy/rip them. Don't worry...
This guy makes me feel violent. does his mother suck off liveleek employees or somethin?
And if you speak like this you will come across as a nice guy with a decent argurment
"In the future, records will be made from records" - John Cage, Composer (1956).
What music do you listen to?
"Let's do something about it..." Huh? You rant on about the US and their waging wars. That's all - you do nothing more then rant. So, what are you going to do regarding media - e.g. music CDs and your ~right~ to spout on LiveLeak? Absolutely nothing. You are what I like to refer to as a "Hand Job." That is, you never doing the "real thing", just fantasizing about it.
Hey, that flimsy little CD in your hand? That is the product of years of dedicated work b More..y musicians, composers and producers. Something you obviously are not familiar with. Consider this: You can get most popular CDs for about US $12. I recall buying LPs and casettes 20 years ago. The price would run about US $7. Taking into account the cost of living increases, a comparably priced CD would cost about $25. So, we're paying less. About your right to a backup, I can imagine trying to take my worn out LP or cassette to the record shop 20 years ago and asking for a free "backup" The shopkeeper would have laughed.
About your complaints regarding 1-2 good songs on an otherwise useless album, are you intentianally forgetting about the ability to purchase individual songs for less than $1.00? Are you so cheap that you cannot shell out pocket change for a song?
Good thing you caught yourself on the rant regarding software and Microsoft. You have no clue of the cost in developing software, not to mention ongoing support, upgrades and R&D.
Keep it up, though. You remind me of my kids' naive points of view when they started to develop into "their own" (i.e. age 12).
P.S. You say you have lawyer friends. You may want to contact them after bashing Logitech. Less..
