Living with the Atom (1957)

Interesting account of the Atom Science behind the bomb as told by Mr Irwin Moon. Always wondered too about the cameras that filmed these blasts - there are shots of these being set-up in the Marshall Isllands .. the text that goes with the clip is as follows:

It comes from the Moody Institute of Science and is in the Public Domain.

Explains the atom as the basic structure of matter. Depicts the birth of the atomic age from Alamogordo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki through the development of the thermonuclear H-bomb. Addresses the morality behind the awesome power of atomic energy.

(apparently some people were put-off by IM's mix of science and religion and some thought he was quite creepy, apparently, so the blurb went on!)
