Man Drives Dump Truck Into House After Getting Fired

By Greg Engle

You work for the family business driving a dump truck.

Your sister decides to fire you for drug use.

So what do you do?

According to Orange County sheriff?s deputies, Julian Burnett decided to run his dump truck right through his sister?s house.

The incident happened Wednesday night near Apopka. Deputies said that Burnett who by the way has a suspended drivers license, was upset not only at his impending job loss but his sister choice of a fianc?e as well.

They say that in his anger he ran the dump truck up the driveway and into the garage attached to his sister?s house, and containing his sisters BMW.

Before he did he allegedly shouted ?I?m going to show you?.

When deputies arrived they said Burnett was standing in the middle of the road mumbling.

No one was injured, but the house and the BMW sustained heavy damage.

From the back of a police car, Burnett told our crew that it was all an accident.

?It dropped out of gear,? Burnett said. ?Come on how are you going to drive a truck into a house like that??

Burnett was taken to jail and charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, burglary and felony criminal mischief.
