Fresh leaks: NSA, GCHQ spying on oil exporting countries

Fresh revelations by American whistleblower Edward Snowden; the US National Security Agency and Britain's Government Communications Headquarters have been spying on the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC. The revelations were published in the German newspaper Der Spiegel. The report says the NSA and the GCHQ have thoroughly infiltrated OPEC’s computer systems. The NSA has already been shown to be spying on Brazil’s energy firm Petrobras as part of its massive spying operations. OPEC has twelve members and is dedicated to coordinating the policies of the oil-exporting countries.
