South Korea Fights To Contain Oil Spill After Collision.

An emergency operation is underway off South Korea's west coast to contain a massive oil spill. Some 10,000 tonnes of crude has already leaked into the sea after an anchored large tanker was struck by a barge being towed. The vessel is some eight kilometres away from the port of Daesan.

Officials say strong winds and are preventing efforts to stop the slick, which could reach the coast in less than 48 hours.
