A British soldier from 4th Battalion The Rifles has been killed in a blast in Afghanistan, according to the Ministry of Defence.
He died near Sangin in Helmand Province and his next of kin have been informed.
This latest death brings the number of UK service personnel killed in Afghanistan since 2001 to 232.
This is the second death to be announced on Remembrance Sunday, after a soldier from the 2nd Battalion, The Rifles, died on Saturday.
He was also killed by a blast near Sangin.
Lieutenant Colonel David Wakefield, spokesman for Task Force Helmand, said the latest soldier to be killed was from 3 Rifles Battle Group.
"One of our fellow soldiers, one of us, who we remembered this morning and who will not be forgotten," he said.
