@Mondhaut Reeks .
Interesting demonstration of group psychology. Every person there could have made it to the other side before the stream really picked up simply by briskly walking - but one girl hesitated, seemingly not wanting to get her shoes wet, which caused a group to form around her, copying or acting upon her indecision - a fatal case of herd behaviour.
Their sacrifice acts as training material by which we can increase our own chances of surviving disaster. They show us what not to do. What a gift to More..leave behind for humanity! Less..
caught in a landslide, no escape from reality.
@SteelBeast You're just a poor boy, you get no sympathy from me...
@SteelBeast - easy come easy go.
WEEEEEEEEE.... Splat! REPOST!

Awww shit, flash flood out of no where :(
Old as the waterfall itself...
Ma hat, ma coat and ma gone dee over the edge!
Darwin award idiots...
It seems unwise to mention Darwin awards. If any of these people already had children then their genes have been passed on and the whole notion of them being subject to Darwinian selection falls flat on its face.
The same goes for every other flippant invocation of "Darwin award" (and in fact, the whole Darwin award concept) - better be sure they don't have children/ are not sperm donors, first.
If you're gonna go, that isn't such a bad way to go
