Senior administration, including (DCO) Sajjad Bhutta, told reporters in Lahore that it was a suicide car bomb, which flattened the building of Rescue-15. Witnesses and survivors said there were some 35 police officials present in the building when the bomber blew up the car on the densely populated Fatima Jinnah Road. Police arrested two suspects, one of them from Swat and one from the site of the blast.
