Roscoe Holcomb - A Man of Constant Sorrow - A Capella

One of the lessor known greats of all time. Very highly admired by standards like The Stanley Brothers, Eric Clapton and many others and an icon in the Appalachian Folk music community, now known as Bluegrass. Bob Dylan described him as possessing "untamed sense of control".

A talented banjo and guitar player as well.

Originally a coal miner from Daisy, Kentucky born in 1912. He was not recorded until 1958 and passed away in 1981 due to emphysema acquired working in the mines.

Yeah its different and go ahead a call it hillbilly music, because that's pretty much what it is.

Its not for everyone, but if you take the time to listen, it really does have a certain haunting beauty to it.
