    • @RusoNecrophiliac Yes we need to place more sanction on Russia because journalists die in wars and car crashes.

    • @MotherRussia Instead of cherry picking why don't you read what fascism really means http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism , start with the first paragraph first. Then we can discuss corporations and their role in fascism. Otherwise, you look like a dumber to me.

  • "Assassinated by Russia"

I'm pretty sure they were killed by assassins...
And these not only exist in Russia but in every other country like Brazil, Columbia, Muricuntia, Germany, Britain, France, China, Japan, Australia...
    People get killed everywhere...

Most of the time people get killed by assassins because they dig too deep into someones business and then those people simply order someone...

For fucks sake.. There are a shitload of assassination-services in the deep web. More..

  • The world's "Journalists' Memorial" is located in Bayeux, France. They have statues commemorating the deaths of every journalist who was killed while trying to report the story...combat or other.

You can see the roster of names here: http://thejournalistsmemorial.rsf.org/

  • Anna Politkovskaya is the name most will remember. She was murdered for exposing Putin's crimes and her books are well known outside of Russia. Her death was meant to be a warning to all Russian journalists, and you only have to look at RT and its reputation to see that the threats mostly worked. Putin's Fascist State has put Russia back years: you only have to look at how the Soviet Union collapsed, along with other such regimes, to see that Fascist Russia is heading the same way.

Lol. "you only have to look at how the Soviet Union collapsed" I thought that was US' work. I mean, I've lost count on how many of you here said that "US did before, and they can do it again". People here keep giving credit to the US for that, but then proceed to claim that "USSR was faulty". You have any idea what would happen if Russia backed Iraq against YOUR country's collaboration in an illegal invasion? Just look at Syria. All Russia d More..

"We are hurtling back into a Soviet abyss, into an information vacuum that spells death from our own ignorance. All we have left is the internet, where information is still freely available. For the rest, if you want to go on working as a journalist, it's total servility to Putin. Otherwise, it can be death, the bullet, poison, or trial—whatever our special services, Putin's guard dogs, see fit."

      - Anna Politkovskaya

    • @not_from_concentrate

She was not murdered because of writing sutff about Putin...
She was writing stuff about Putin... and someone killed her for some reason..

I'm sick of your folks' conspiracy theories...

    • @Lingling Exactly. How much is there of Politkovskaya's death being Kremlin-ordered? Zero. Per usual. If anyone in the government did it, I suspect Kadyrov more than anyone else. But the only "proof" of anything is the shrieking and wailing of Russophobes.

      Posted Jan-3-2015 By

      (3) | Report

    • @Lingling There are a lot more people she exposed than just Putin...

Which makes it easier to order a hit on her.

  • Here is just an example of experience from one journalist....

Upon leaving the camp, Politkovskaya was detained, interrogated, beaten, and humiliated by Russian troops: "the young officers tortured me, skillfully hitting my sore spots. They looked through my children's pictures, making a point of saying what they would like to do to the kids. This went on for about three hours."[37] She was subjected to a mock execution using a BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket system, then poisone More..

    Quote:
    - due to the head injuries received in a violent quarrel with his neighbour
    - car accident
    - does not believe that the brutal killing of his colleague was linked to his journalistic activities.
    - trip to Chechnya he was kidnapped and later killed (by a group of Wahhabis)

I could go on. Very few of them are assassinations and in many instances the killers have been found and convicted (and no they aren't from KGB) and more than half of them happened in Chec More..

  • If you want to preserve your country from outside world and stop immigrants from coming in and destroying your country you will have to rule your country with iron fist. Russia is the only country that doesn't have immigration problem. When was the last time you saw a person from Africa in Russia, never, now go to Europe and see what kind of problems they are having with immigration (its sad). Save your country now while there is a chance.

in fact, Russia has its own immigration problem,  migration from former USSR members -stan countries.

    • @wild geese I understand that but I would rather have them (because they want to work) instead of bunch of Africans on government welfare not doing anything.

I'm not saying Putin is perfect but in the future Russians will thank him for what he did to save Russia, many have not realize it yet.

    • @Dr.Phill stupid there are immigrants in Russia Chinese. Muzzies. Blacks.. U name it. Its the only way to fix their stagnant population. You have negative growth rate in white Russia. Their mongoloid Chechen brown people are booming birth rates compared to white Russians.
