Male Pedestrian hit by Car backing out of Driveway

Truck 4 and Rescue 4 from Moncton Fire responded to a Pedestrian Auto Accident on Salter Ave just before 8 A.M. this morning. When Firefighters arrived on scene the male in his 60's was sitting in the middle of the street. Ambulance and Codiac R.C.M.P. arrived on scene and the male was transported to hospital with left wrist and shoulder pain. The woman driver was backing out of her driveway when she struck the man that was walking along Salter Ave in uptown Moncton. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
