Accidents, Public Safety Film

a Public Safety Film of the day produced and promoted by The Ford Motor Company. Although the scenes played out for the camera may seem rather passé the background view throughout the whole clip gives a wonderful illustration of how things were back then. The clothes styles of the day sets the period well, with the Police Officers rather dusty tunics at the scene of the tram car crash (.41) and the cars themselves, look at the front wheels of the car at 1.12 - fantastic! Interesting to note that even back then road-hogs were seen as 'dangerous despicable offenders' (1.20)

[font=Arial, Verdana]the film is posted mainly for what's in the Background as opposed to the action up front, does anyone recognise the area shown, especially the road of houses at 1.55? is
