Pope Presented With a Pizza During Naples Visit

<p>Pope Francis, the leader of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics, revealed in <a href="www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-13/pope-feels-papacy; target="_blank">an interview</a> with a Mexican television station earlier in March that he missed being able to go for pizza, an outing he hasn’t been able to enjoy since taking the top job at the Vatican. With this in mind, the staff at Don Ernesto’s pizzeria in Via Partenope, Naples, got to work on a pizza fit for a pontiff when they heard the pope was going to be swinging by town.</p><p>As this video shows, pizza-maker Enzo Cacialli was successful in his <a href="www.ilmattino.it/NAPOLI/SPECIALE_PAPA/pizza-papa-francesco-f; target="_blank">bid</a> to present the pizza to the Argentinian pope during the pontiff’s visit to Naples on Saturday, March 22.
