  • What now America? Reading through the comments I see how anyone who mentions tighter gun control gets several thumbs down... so you're obviously not up for that.

What about arming the teachers with semi automatics? Send the kids to school wearing bullet proof vests? Give the kids guns to protect themselves?

  • The majority of the world has been saying it for decades. Tougher gun control.
You can't argue we're wrong. Look at how many are killed in the US by firearms each year. 'Bearing arms' certainly looks like it is helping no-one.
There are better ways of feeling 'free' than by owning a gun. Other countries cope very well without them. How many more will die? Think about it in a few months when there's probably going to be another shooting. Just think.

So your willing to put your `100% trust in law enforcement. You wake up in the middle of the night, hearing a window downstairs break. So you call 911, and stick your head between your ass cheeks and PRAY they get there in time. Fuck that and fuck you. lol how many fucking times has it been said, lots of other places have LOTS of guns, but this dont happen. Explain that.

    • @itiemo I have a friend that lives on the edge of a forest in Australia, she has a guy stalking her. She can't have a gun for protection though. I guess she is just supposed to hope that when he does decide to kill her, he'll give her a half hour notice so the police can get out there.

You make a valid first point. But I think your second point is misguided. Why make it easier for mentally unstable people to go out and commit mass murder by making guns freely available?

Can some of our American friends please explain to me why anyone would need a military grade assault rifle?

  • For those leftists who supports gun control:
Brazil have a huge gun-control policy where is almost impossible to own a gun, however we have way more homicides by gunshots than USA. And we have a smaller population.
Gun control isn't the solution, you can see that if you do a little research. Gun control precedes genocides and opression by government, like we saw on Nazi Germany and Communists governments. Plus, every man has the right to defend himself and his own family, gun control is one of d More..

I'd stay away from an AR. TONS of people will disagree with me but despite some of the obvious advantages of the AR platform, it still is way to damn prone to stoppages. It is not the "perfect weapon", there is no such thing. There are other, better choices out there (for me). I guess it all depends on what you really need, and what your expectations are. An AR15 is still a pretty decent weapon. First rule of a gun fight...

You people (i.e. dumbshits who gave up their guns because they were too scary to have around). Always come off as jealous that we still have the freedom to own guns.

Really, ask yourself why you choose to lash out against legitimate gun owners who commit no crimes.

  • The Culture and social influences of the USA must be tough for young adults growing up. Its like they have no outlets to express themselves. The whole nation encourages people to arm themselves and through media and society desenitise violence and make it accceptable..easy.

Carry all the weapons you guys want. Arm your children and teach them how to shoot then remember in a couple of months time you could suffer the worst tradedy imaginable to any parent.

    This shit is embarressing.
