FIA confirm USF1 exit, no room for Stefan GP

The FIA have announced the final entry list for the 2010 season, with USF1 and Stefan GP the noticeable absentees.

USF1 boss Ken Anderson admitted on Wednesday that the team had requested that their entry be deferred to 2011, so it comes as no surprise that the Charlotte-based team are not on the list.

With USF1's impending doom long foreshadowed, it appeared that the Serbian team Stefan GP had maneuvered themselves into a position to fill the gap left by USF1, but despite their best efforts the FIA have decided against replacing USF1.

"Having considered the various options, the FIA confirms that it is not possible for a replacement team to be entered for the Championship at this late stage," the FIA said in a statement.

"In the coming days the FIA will announce details of a new selection process to identify candidates to fill any vacancies existi
