4000 Horse Power just isn't enough..

The person who took the film (Parails) said,
'I believe the symbol to be the Q261, but I'm not certain. The train stalled a few hundred feet below the grade crossing at Mance, PA. The lead unit on the train following this one, a GP38-2, was enlisted as a rear end helper to get the autoracks over the summit'. he added, 'after the train´╗┐ stalled out I walked to the front and got the footage at 1:54. After that I crossed the tracks and set up again'.

Loco, Alco´╗┐ C628>GP38-2>C40-8

there are a lot of arguments for not entrusting a train to one Locomotive for the reason we see here yet, often, availability, costs and other factors will come into play - the reverse curve didn't help!

all-in-all some good footage with great sounds and all credit is due to the cameraman Parails.
