Israel joins Middle East tent protests

With protest tent cities being set up across Middle Eastern city centres as a revolutionary tactic, the same appears in Tel Aviv with the first tents rising on July 19th 2011. The people in each country perceive different problems and while the issues faced by Israel are certainly different, the style rings similar. Israelis are enraged at the lack of affordable housing for the ordinary masses. This may be a sensitive issue for the government as they make an uneasy balance with the far right.

The video shows the demonstration area of Tel Aviv on July 26, and a lively carnival atmosphere much like the other Middle Eastern capitals where demonstrations are taking place. Tens of thousands have begun to march against the crisis.
