Major Sandstorm In Iran

Mar. 16 - A fierce sandstorm, with speeds of up to 130 km/h, claims at least five lives and leaves dozens injured.

The sand storm which blew its way through a desert city in Iran, in the southern province of Kerman, has killed at least five people.

The storm destroyed trees, blocked roads, and left cars buried under metres of sand.

Some city dwellers suffered from breathing problems as a result of the ferocious storm.
