  • wtf do you people expect?

if the staff did a proper job, they would be FIRED by AMERICAN management for taking too long.

see how quick the glasses get cleaned? comapre that with collecting them, trundling them off to the massive dishwasher, sorting them, returning them to the rooms, or . . . . swoosh unde the tap !!!

which costs less and therefore puts more money in the pockets of the hotel owners?

which hotel owners would GO OUT OF BUSINESS if the charged more for rooms to fukin PAY for cle More..

  • Drinking from the toilet may be a better option. Or straight scotch.

  • I used to travel about three weeks a month. Hotels are gross. I watched the maid clean the glasses in a bucket of dirty water right after she washed the ashtrays in it. Yuck.

  • That my friends is why you don't put anything in a hotel in your mouth! As far as the cleaning solution is concerned, of course it's not meant for drinking. Neither is the soap you put in your dishwasher!

  • neoconjerk: "Alright, I get it. Using glass cleaner to wash out cups is wrong. But really, did the narrator have to point out Windex shouldn't be consumed?

    "
No kidding. Dish washing liquid shouldn't be consumed either. I wonder if they would have pointed that out.

  • What do you expect with the third-world monkeys that clean the rooms? I touch nothing except the sheets. And I check those closely. Indians don't seem to be very worried about how clean their hotels are so I avoid them. Nice people, but they don't understand cleanliness standards at all.

  • These are the same kind of people that usually get hired for food prep. A graphic illustration of how hepatitis gets around. Want fries with that?

  • Well if I ever have to travel and use hotel rooms I am bringing antibacterial soap and washing the glasses. Or even better, i'll just drink bottled drinks.

    • @stefjeff This is how you wash your glasses at home? With glass cleaner and a dirty towel? That's pretty sick. Glass should be washed in the dishwasher, or by hand, with dish soap and a clean brush or sponge.... and with HOT water.

    • @adamky¬†No, no sponges, ever. Sponges harbor an incredible amount of bacteria. Seriously, google it. You'll see that sponges not only carry the highest bacteria count in a typical kitchen and bathroom, but the most disease-causing and deadly bacteria at that. No sponges. No. Bad. No.

  • lol...we do the same thing in our hotel. thats why you wash your glasses ...dont expect other people to do it for you. (btw, those those yellow glows they use them to wash the toilet and then they wash your glasses with them.) Happy? No!... thats why u give them a tip before your leave your room..and they will do it "the nice way"...

  • Ive never liked any public place, restaurants, pubs, hotels, cinemas for this very reason. Maybe thats why ive not even had a common cold in the past 15 years, im so conscious of how disgusting most people are I hate drinking in a pub from a glass thats been in so many other peoples mouths even if it has been totally cleaned.
