By JPOST.COM STAFF

Abu-Jibril Shimali, commander of Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, was reportedly killed in clashes between Hamas and Jund Ansar Allah, an al-Qaida-inspired extremist group, during battles in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip Friday evening.

Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades is the armed group that kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Schalit three years ago.

The report by Army Radio, quoting Palestinian sources, could not be confirmed by The Jerusalem Post.

    • NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS NOBODY WILL EVER BE MUSLIM ENOUGH. one group will always accuse the other because they are not in control and they want to be. this is why thier way of life is the wrong way. i guess everyone is doing gods work and everyone is an infidel.

    • Of course. Honestly it is why giving quarter to a mythical degenerate belief is foolish. However they do not worship fairies. They commit themselves to the wholesale slaughter of unbelievers (other human beings) and that is why they are evil.

    • THe practice is called Takfir, labeling one group of Musllims as Kaffir for not practicing Islam right, it's often an excuse for one faction to seize power, it's also the root of the Sunni Shiite sectarian conflict that happens from Iraq to Lebanon.
